BiographyWill was called to the bar in September 2020. He has a broad commercial practice with a particular interest in corporations, insolvency, judicial review, planning and environment, and real property matters. He is a professional member of the Australian Restructuring, Insolvency, and Turnaround Association (ARITA) and one of the few professional members in practice at the Queensland bar.
At the Bar, Will has acted both led and unled for a broad spectrum of commercial clients including businesses (and their directors), property owners, liquidators, and government bodies. In particular, his planning and environment practice has seen him act for developers, local governments, and the State.
Prior to being called to the Bar, Will was admitted to practice in 2015 and worked as a solicitor for six years firstly at a boutique firm for three years before moving to a national mid-tier firm for three years.
Outside his practice, Will pursues a variety of musical interests and was the musical director of the Queensland Young Lawyers’ Revue from 2017 to 2021. He also has a keen interest, though discernible lack of talent, in a wide variety of sport.
